Our Story

Hi, I'm Jennifer — dog mom to two Frenchies, Gracie and Bentley, who run this house.

Better With A Paw started with a simple belief: life is better with a dog. All of them. Every breed, every mutt, every goofy grin.

I'm a one-woman shop, and I design every piece myself. Each breed portrait is original artwork, drawn with love (and a little help from technology). The Bernese Mountain Dog collection is especially close to my heart — it's modeled after Tammy, my daughter and son-in-law's first Berner. My daughter is a Bernese Mountain Dog breeder, so you could say the love of the breed runs in the family.

From our Heritage line ("Life Is Better with a [Breed]") to the playful Era collection ("In my Berner era") to our seasonal drops — plus Bespoke custom portraits that turn your dog's photo into wearable art — everything here is made for people whose dogs aren't just pets. They're family.
